Former Motorola “Marketing Master” Takes the Reins as Nanoexa Chief Operating Officer

Richard D’Sa to Lead Rapid Commercialization of Clean Energy Storage Solutions

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 19, 2007 – Nanoexa, a provider of safe, high-performance clean energy storage solutions, today announced the appointment of Richard D’Sa to the post of chief operating officer of the growing company. With more than 35 years of senior management experience, D’Sa has built world-class engineering teams and created comprehensive technology manufacturing infrastructures for several Fortune 500 companies. D’Sa will guide Nanoexa’s plans to rapidly commercialize safe, environmentally sound, ultra-high-performance batteries.

D’Sa previously held top senior and executive management positions at Motorola, LSI Logic, Opti, ITEX (UMC) and Xpeed. At Motorola, Mr. D’Sa won the prestigious "Marketing Master Award" as well as “Sales Manager of the Year Award.” And at UMC/ITEX, as senior director of sales and marketing, D’sa was pivotal in igniting the ADSL broadband revolution throughout North America and Asia.

Nanoexa is a pioneer in advanced quantum molecular modeling for batteries and has an exclusive partnership with Argonne National Laboratories, which provides R&D for both the Department of Energy (DOE) and US automobile manufacturers. The Lithium batteries now in development at Nanoexa have achieved superior levels of safety and performance. Nanoexa is currently in the process of bringing a new generation of clean, high-performance batteries to the power tool and hybrid electric vehicle markets.
